A Floral cuff, coral bowtie & Stevie wonder
Hiding behind the bridal screen with a huge grin, Erin was peeking through the small gap to sweetly heckle guests as they came in but really she was trying to get a glimpse of her groom. I do believe I heard her gush about how handsome her husband was at least 3 times in one hour.
I met Erin and Mohamed a few weeks before their wedding, and right away I was like… this is a cool couple. They had their own style, were laid back and very fun. Erin asked for a bridal corsage so she didn’t have to worry about carrying anything. In her favorite color, orange, if you please. I was excited because I didn’t know what a bridal corsage was but my florist, Melanie knew exactly what it was. She advised that it was a very modern and very cool idea.
These two had a friend officiate for them which is fun for me to be able to watch the ceremony and pretend to be a guest for a few minutes. They both read their own vows and there may have been some teary eyes. (Me. It totally was me.) Erin walked down the aisle to a quartet version of Just the Way You Are and they danced out together to Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder. It was just a wonderful day!
